Job Title: Journeyman Electrician
Job Description:
As a Journeyman Electrician, you'll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential, commercial, or light industrial settings. You should be able to work independently, manage time efficiently, and deliver consistent, code-compliant results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Ensure all work meets relevant codes and safety standards.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide timely solutions.
- Lead or support apprentices and laborers on job sites.
- Maintain accurate job documentation and communicate with clients and supervisors.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on electrical experience.
- Having a Journeyman Electrician license is helpful, but not required.
- CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) is helpful to have.
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Skilled in using electrical tools, meters, and testing equipment.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and maintain a high standard of safety and quality.
